For this original custom home, the clients wanted an entirely new layout for the core of the home to make the living and kitchen transition flow more smoothly. We came up with three separate layouts from least to most invasive to bring options for creating a better transition between spaces. Throughout the entire home, the redesign carried an intentional blend between modern and vintage eclectic. Bold tiles and fixtures were balanced by minimalistic and natural materiality, curvature, and simplicity.
This design featured a reconfiguration of the entire home to better suit the new owners needs, with a custom butler pantry, pool bathroom, and dramatic bathrooms. Designed By Been strives for attention to detail and design intentionality for clients, carrying a seamless flow from hardware, lighting, overall structure, and final finishes and decor.
